Oobleck and putty

                       What makes a good structure?

We compare Oobleck + putty as a foundation for a building.we had to find out what happened when we touch it,squeeze it,poured it ,punched it,roll it into a ball and speared it.

  Then we had to find substance that could be used to create a building.Such as plastic,stickies,leaves,card,paper cup,button,foil,pipe clean and a straw.

We are learning about Oobleck and putty.
I found it easy because I knew what was putty and Oobleck. 
Next time I would like to do more about Oobleck then putty.

  

Maori language week - Ta Moko

Looked at pictures ngā To Moko.

Looked at the meaning in the Ta Moko patterns.

Traditionally Ta Moko was made with a chisel.

Ta Moko starts out small and grows. The females usually only have their chin done.

Painting a mask with skin colour, or close to it.

Designed our Ta Moko

Drew on our Ta Moko onto our mask with vivid.

We are learning to draw a Maori Ta Moko on a mask.
I found it hard because they all looked cool and I didn't know what one to choose.
Next time I would like to draw another Ta Moko.

Cross Country Writing

Finally it was the year 5s turn to run I got to the starting line Miss castle said “Take your mark,set,go before the loud BANG! I was running I run past Mrs Hiku down the hill suddenly I was in the lead.In till Brooklyn past me my face turned red because something was at the back of me. “Ahh!’ I screamed as I ran from something it was a girl,she had short hair,two legs and two arms I ran past Mrs Mundy she said. “Why couldn't you run like this at practices’’ I said “Nothing’’ I was running  up the hill it felt like I was climbing mount everest my feet got sore and sore I went past the builders.And I went straight to the field suddenly Janaya past me when I got to the back paddick I was walking till I got to Janaya she started to run and I caught to her when she was running suddenly Janaya started to walk and I said “I hope you don’t come last’’ Mariah was at the back of Janaya I was trying to bet Brooklyn but she was already at the.Finish line I tried not stop and let Janaya and Mariah pass me but a let janaya past me because I was to tied and I looked at the back of me Mariah was already walking when I looked to front Janaya was at the finish I tried not to  let Mariah pass me so I run as fast as a cheater.when I got to the finish line I got a mark on my hand that said 3 after all the races are done the teachers give out the 1st 2nd and 3 place medal.

We are leaning how to write about cross country.

I found it hard to write on a paper because I was thinking blank.

Next time I would like to write another story.

LAMN - Camp Adair

We am learning how to have fun at camp adair.
I found it fun because we didn't have to do work on Thursday.
Next time I would like to go back to camp adair other day

Tongan language week

We are learning how to speak in Tongan for Tongan language week.
I found it easy because I speak Tongan at home with my parents.
Next time I would like to say some things in Tongan on screen castify.

Math - Ignoring zeros

We are learning how to do a screen castify for  math's.

I found it easy because I did screen castify when I was year 4.
